Chapter One Product introduction

1.1 Product Overview

Binocular passenger flow statistics product obtains 3D depth information in real time through binocular stereo vision AI sensor, identifies head and shoulder features in complex scenes based on head and shoulder feature algorithm, and realizes accurate passenger flow statistics through human body tracking algorithm. It can be widely used in shopping centers, retail stores, libraries, buildings, parks, scenic spots, stations, public transportation, and other scenarios that require pedestrian flow statistics.

1.2 Product Feature

  • Based on the leading binocular stereo vision technology, it gets rid of the limitations of the traditional 2D passenger flow technology which is easily affected by light and scene.
  • In the special scene with direct sunlight on the street, the accuracy can still reach 95%;
  • Indoor normal lighting environment, the accuracy rate is more than 98%;
  • A large number of collection and debugging, to ensure that the product in various scenarios will not appear false count;

1.3 Definition of passenger flow information

Enter

In the statistical area, entering the detection area from the direction of entry and exiting the detection area after crossing the detection line is counted as entering. Figure action ①;

Leave :

In the statistical area, entering the detection area in the opposite direction from entering, crossing the detection line and exiting the detection area, is counted as leaving. Figure ④ action;

Pass

In the statistical area, if a person enters the detection area from the entry direction, does not exit the detection area, and leaves the detection area from the entry direction area, it is counted as passing through. As shown in the action ②③;

Pull Back

In the statistical area, entering the detection area in the opposite direction from entering the detection area, not out of the detection area, leaving the detection area in the opposite direction from entering the detection area, is counted as reentry. ⑤⑥;

Reside

Refers to the number of real-time residents in the current passenger flow detection area;

How long each customer stays in the testing area.

Chapter 3 Application scenarios

3.1 Illumination Conditions

  • Normal lighting: refers to the indoor normal lighting environment in shopping centers/stores/restaurants;
  • Street half sunlight: refers to the scene where the street sunlight directly enters the door;
  • Direct sunlight: indicates an outdoor scene with direct sunlight.
  • Dimly lit: in a dimly lit scene such as a parking lot/movie theater/bar;

3.2 Surrounding environment

  • Ground: suitable for various materials/colors of the ground environment;
  • Surrounding: applicable to the scene with walls around/opening and closing doors;

Chapter IV Product Work Requirements

4.1 Power Supply Requirements

The camera can use a 12V/2A switching power adapter or POE power supply. Table 4-1 lists the voltage parameters.

Attention:

  1. Using an incorrect power supply may damage the camera.
  2. Do not use power supply with voltage greater than DC12V (±10%);
  3. The camera only supports the following three working modes. Wired and wireless working scenarios are not supported:
  • Wi-fi connection network and DC12V power supply mode;
  • POE power supply and wired network connection;
  • Wired network and DC12V power supply;

4.2 Storage and working Environment Requirements

Operating temperature: 0°C~45 °C;

Working humidity: 20~ 80%;

Storage temperature: -20°C~50 °C;

Storage humidity: 20~ 80%;

Note : An effective means of heat dissipation must be provided to maintain a stable indoor temperature. The following guidelines must be observed. Under all circumstances, the indoor temperature must be monitored to ensure that the temperature does not exceed 50 °C.

4.3 Camera Connector

The binocular passenger flow product leads to two connectors at the rear, DC JACK and Ethernet respectively. The Ethernet port provides data transmission and POE power supply, and the DC JACK port provides 12V power supply.

Attention:

  1. The use of power supply higher than 12V (±10%) will damage the product;
  2. A standard POE power supply device is recommended. Non-standard POE power supply devices may damage the camera.
